Hm I'm sorry I missed this thread earlier. I've been a bit slack in visiting, due in part to some serious deadlines on, strangely enough, a family orientated show for approximately 15000... Not that I think there's any correlation, but it seemed an interesting coincidence

I'm curious as to what kind of answers were received (although I understand why they might have been private) as I'm not familiar with the expectations of both promoters or suppliers, dealing mainly with BOH logistics rather than front line relationship building and marketing.

Do any of the contributors to Darth's answers have some broad stroke responses that are fit for public consumption, some general advice or guidelines or just some know-how on what is the basic expected return on a sponsorship investment of time and services rather than money or products? Does it depend on the type of show or are there some base-line expectations for every venture?
